Viktor Riese is an emissary of the Order of the Griffon who has been sent to Nordland with a stern mandate: train and arm those willing to defend the Empire, and compel those who would turn tail and flee to join the fight, by any means necessary. He operates out of Grimmenhagen Village, a small village just a short ride from Neues Emskrank, where he is preparing the townsfolk to join battle against the forces of the Raven Host.

I am the only one in this Sigmar-forsaken village with battle experience, and yet, the wives and children are given more respect.

If truly the Emperor had no care for his people I would be well away from here, for it is my last wish to stand alone against a numberless horde with untrained farmers at my back!
