The old Dwarf shook his axe for a moment, then stooped and rubbed dirt on the bronze-colored blade to clear it of the Squig's remains. They were filthy creatures, and Borak Brightaxe couldn't bear to see his father's axe sullied with their blood.

"If I ever get out of here, I'll find someone else ta kill these beasties for me. It's an insult to me Da's honor to have his axe stained wit' the blood of such wee monsters."
