The First City of the Empire...

Dark with decay, the capital city of the Empire sits at the crux of the rivers Reik and Talabec. While Emperor Karl Franz runs his kingdom from high atop the city, the twisted streets and dim alleyways writhe with merchants, beggars and all manner of unsavory characters.

In stark contrast to the otherwise dismal city features, the grand Temple of Sigmar and even more interestingly the eight towers of the Colleges of Magic stand proud while magic seeps from their walls, warping the streets and buildings and making navigation in the area incredibly frustrating.

Jutting from the River Riek's center is the formidable Reiksfang, once a castle to the prince of Altdorf, it now serves as a prison with the wealthy and high ranking criminals assigned to the top of the tower while the mean and lowly prisoners are entombed in the bowels of the structure, which lies below the water's surface.

All of the PQs in Altdorf are soloable, but it never hurts to have friends! And remember, many of the Armor Set pieces can only be obtained from a gold bag from one of these PQs!

Happenings

• In The Slums just north of the east entrance to the War Quarters, a Peasant woman stands on her stoop saying, "Someone please help me! There are monsters inside my house!" or "Help! Beasties 'ave taken over my house!" Inside you will find 3 level 15 Skaven. Kill them and she will come in and say, "The beasts are all gone!" but when you follow her back outside Master Moulder Vitchek (19 Hero Skaven) is waiting for you!
