Khaine's Embrace
Khaine's Embrace
Warfront High Elves vs Dark Elves
Zone Type Scenario (Group-Solo)
Level Range1 to 11 (Tier 1)

Overview

This is the first RvR Scenario for the High Elven and Dark Elven players. It consists of two flags that can be captured and held. If one faction succeeds in capturing and holding both flags, then the Wrath of Khaine is summoned slaying any that are within it's blast radius. Summoning the Wrath of Khaine grants whichever faction held the flags 70 points. Slaying opposing members and capturing flags are other ways to gain points. The first group to gain 500 points wins.

Objectives

This scenario contains two battle objectives called Dance of Swords (closest to the Order camp) and Death's Charge (closest to the Destruction camp). These objectives can be claimed for your realm by walking next to the large flag at an objective, and interacting with it. A bar will move across the bottom of your screen as it takes about 5 seconds to claim an objective. The aim of the scenario is to claim both objectives and hold them in 'lockdown' for 10 seconds. Your team earns points by killing enemy players, and by holding the two objectives in lockdown successfully. The first realm to 500 points will win the scenario, or the realm with the highest points after 15 minutes of play will be deemed the victor.

When an objective has been taken a horn will sound, but do not confuse this with the foghorn sound that indicates Khaine's Wrath is about to go off. Khaine's Wrath is what happens when one side holds both Dance of Swords and Death's Charge for 10 seconds. Then the deeper horn of Khaine's Wrath will blow to warn you to run to safety. There will be an explosion that expands out from both objectives and Khaine's Altar, making your hiding places limited on the battlefield. Since the explosions do 20,000 damage there is no way to live through one, unless you know where to run. The only safe place on the battlefield itself are the tunnels, but running halfway back to your realm spawn site is also an option. After the blast dissipates, the objectives are reset to neutral control.
