Apothecary Guide to Tier 2 (WAR)
By the very nature of the Warhammer crafting system, the word "Recipes" may seem inappropriate. Generally, the effect listed on the main ingredient is the type of potion that you will end up with. The general procedure is to take a main ingredient you like, add enough Stabilizers to yield a successful combine, and then add whatever additional effect ingredients you have room for. Tier 2 recipies start with ingredients that have a minimum Apothecary skill of 50.
Basics
RecipiesRecipes are difficult to track. Potions brewed will vary along that type of potion. For example, using a Wiry Elfcup with one Distilled Water can yield a Fleeting Potion of Purpose, despite the message 'This potion will definitely succeed'. Adding a Wiry Merulius changed the yield to one Potion of Will. Adding Wiry Merulius and a Burgundy Bolete yielded the same Potion of Will three times in a row. Furthermore, it also appears that your Apothecary skill can have an effect on the stability of the potion you are crafting. Due to this confusion, it is unknown what the exact effects of the ingredients beyond the main ingredient. It seems that the more items you use to craft a potion, the better quality of potion you get. Which items yield the best results in each domain is yet to be determined. Therefore, the recipes presented here will list the result of combining each ingredient with 3 of the standard stabilizers (in the case of Tier 2 recipes, Cloudy Waters were used). Feel free to experiment by changing the recipes, using additional ingredients or higher quality stabilizers and seeing what amazing concoctions you can make!
