Sometimes, when you grow a plant, you get more than just the plant. You can get a seed of the same type but a lesser tier (such as a Sallow Ashberry Seed as a by-product from a Smoking Ashberry Seed), or you could get one of the following items:

Skilling Up

The best way to skill up is to use Short-Stemmed Elvish Parsley Seed. The seed is returned after every grow cycle is complete. The only downside is that the cultivation processes takes significantly longer to grow than other dropped seeds. It is still an excellent seed to use. Just keep putting it back into a plot while questing, running around or participating in RvR. Short-Stemmed Elvish Parsley Seed is available via a quick and easy quest appropriate for its tier.
